Since 2005, the pile testing group has been operating to design and control the compressive and tensile bearing capacity of piles in coastal projects and industrial structures. This department has so far conducted more than 200 pile tests of various sizes. The highest load applied in compression tests was 1200 tons and in tension tests was 400 tons. Among the projects carried out in this section are the metal pile test of the Bandar Abbas dry dock project, Shadegan Steel, Mianeh Steel, Qaenat Steel, Bandar Abbas Steel and the electric arc furnace of the Hormozgan Steel Complex, pile test of the Solaris Babolsar project, static and dynamic pile test of the Malekan Refinery, pile test of the Liana Shiroud Complex, and dynamic loading tests of the piles of the Hara Qeshm pier.
Nail and micropile tensile tests have also been conducted in several projects. These projects include nail tensile tests in the Narges Hotel Wall Protection Project in Qom, Mahestan, Tehran, and Yas, and micropile tensile tests in the Mosalla Reinforcement Project in Tehran.
Pile Integrity Testing (PIT) has been performed on more than 30 projects so far. Based on the results of this test, the integral length of the pile is determined.
