This tunnel, with a length of more than 5.5 kilometers, is the longest urban tunnel in the Middle East. Its typical cross-section width is about 20 meters, and in some sections the cross-section width will reach 30 meters. Accordingly, this tunnel is considered one of the largest NATM sections in the world.
