Tunnel and Underground Spaces section was stablished to provide engineering services such as design, consulting, and supervision of the implementation of tunnels, stations, metro lines, and excavations.

Population growth and limits of urban areas are the most important reasons to construct high rise buildings. Providing enough parking spaces for these structures raises the need for deep excavations.
